What is the Transitions Program?
The Transitions Program has been designed to assist students in performing to the best of their ability. Students attending college today often enter with a variety of areas in which we can provide support.
Who is Transitions for?
- Freshmen
- New students
- International students
- Transfer students
- Non-traditional students
- Students seeking academic support
- Any Webster student (undergraduate or graduate) who would like to improve his or her GPA
How can Transitions help me?
Transitions is a very individualized program that is tailored to fit the needs of the student and to emphasize each student's strengths.
You will be assigned your own Transitions Mentor. Together, you will determine what your needs and strength are, and how best to achieve your goals.
What resources does Transitions provide?
- Academic counseling
- Learning strategies
- Organization and time management
- Peer tutoring
- Mentoring to familiarize you with Webster and its services
