Career Services helps Webster University students and alumni clarify and attain their career goals. By working collaboratively with faculty, we can better achieve this goal.
Student and alumni career development concerns can usually be divided into three specific areas: career counseling, experiential education and employment or graduate school admission. You may refer students to our office to receive assistance with any of these career-related concerns.
Career Counseling

- Guiding students and alumni through career transition
Experiential Education
- Assisting students in obtaining internships
- Utilizing online resources related to internship opportunities
- Assisting students with student employment
- Discussing volunteer and community service experiences
Employment or Graduate School Admission
- Using career/job fairs in a job search
- Negotiating salaries
- Utilizing online resources related to employment opportunities
- Participating in employer information sessions or on-campus recruiting
- Attending workshops and programs such as Career Builder Seminars and Conferences and Job Search Strategies workshops
- Discussing graduate school and admission requirements
