The City of Grandview, Missouri is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Grandview Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting application for the following Part-Time positions:

COMMUNITY CENTER SPECIALIST II for MEMBER SERVICES Responsibilities: This position provides customer service and support through the Front Desk operations, and will include, but not limited to, patron admissions, sales of daily and seasonal passes, class registrations and answering phones. Requires cash handling and reconciliation for daily admission fees, program registration fees, season passes, and membership dues. Shifts will include weekdays, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and weekends. Pay: The hourly rate will range from $7.65 - $10.00, depending on experience.

COMMUNITY CENTER SPECIALIST III for HEALTH & FITNESS Responsibilities: This position supports evening and weekend hours, and will begin in August. Responsibilities involve supervision of the Health and Fitness area of The View Community Center. Pay: The hourly rate will range from $8.67 - $12.14, depending on experience.

COMMUNITY CENTER SPECIALIST III for MEMBER SERVICES Responsibilities: This position provides customer service and support through the Front Desk operations, and will include, but not limited to, patron admissions, sales of daily and seasonal passes, class registrations and answering phones. The position will assume some supervisory responsibilities in opening or closing the facility during the weekday. Requires: Cash handling and reconciliation for daily admission fees, program registration fees, season passes, and membership dues. Pay: Hourly rate ranges from $8.67-$12.14 depending on experience.

ROCKWALL ATTENDANT and INSTRUCTOR Responsibilities: The successful candidate must have extensive climbing experience and be able to teach climbing classes, conduct workshops and/or implement climbing special events. Rock wall certification is preferred. Hours: Rock Wall Attendant must be able to work Monday thru Thursday, 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sundays, 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Rockwall Instructor hours are mostly evenings or weekends, and will vary.

TOT DROP ATTENDANT for MEMBER SERVICES Responsibilities: position involves caring and supervision of children, ages 3 months to 10 years. Children may be dropped off for up to 2 hours at a time. Must be patient, caring and enjoy being around children. Shifts will include weekdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm and every other Saturday. Pay: The hourly rate will range from $6.63 - $9.28, depending on experience.

General Overview: Support the apparel design needs of all Rawlings brands, with an emphasis on women’s apparel, through the development of first-run patterns according to production requirements and deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Creates first-run patterns from drawings or CAD documents using Gerber Technology’s AccuMark software
• Digitizes pattern pieces
• Sets up grade rules for sizing
• Establishes and maintains garment measurements
• Works with engineering department representatives on establishing garment specification sheets
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• 2-3 years job-related experience required
• Proficient in knowledge of Gerber Technology’s AccuMark software, with 2 or more years of experience using version 8.1 or 8.2

Night Audit: Pay is $10.00/hour. Hours are from 10pm to 6am. Must have customer service experience. Applicant must have accounting knowledge. Must be available on the weekends and holidays.
