US Student Fulbright Program
The U.S. Student Program is designed to give recent B.S./B.A. graduates, masters and doctoral candidates, and young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience.
The application period for the 2008-2009 Fulbright program will open May 1st, 2007 and the deadline for the application is October 17st, 2007. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
Scholarships for study abroad students currently receiving federal Pell grants. Award amounts are up to $5,000 for a semester or academic year. Gilman scholarships may only cover a portion of your total study abroad costs.
You should carefully consider the cost of your study abroad program and determine whether you would be able to fund a portion of your expenses should your Gilman award be less than the full program cost. IIE Midwest Scholarship for Study Abroad
IIE’s Midwest Regional Center began its study abroad scholarship program in 1994 with 5 grants of $1,000. In six years, the program has awarded scholarships to 158 Midwestern students. The money for these scholarships comes from generous contributions from Midwestern corporations, foundations, and individuals.

Freeman-ASIA Awards for Study in Asia
Students studying at Webster University-Thailand and in the Webster-Kansai University exchange are highly encouraged to apply. The primary goal of the Freeman-ASIA Program is to increase the number of American undergraduates who study in East and Southeast Asia, by providing students with the information and financial assistance they will need.
Awardees will be expected to share their experiences with their home campus to encourage study abroad by others, and to spread understanding of Asia in their home communities.

Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan
Particularly useful for students participating in the Webster-Kansai University exchange, undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Japanese language study is not a prerequisite. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be enrolled in a college or university in the United States. Awards range from $2500 to $4000.
