The Community Music School's orchestras and ensembles provide an opportunity for motivated instrumental musicians to perform with peers of similar ability and commitment.

For some students, ensemble experiences may not be available to them through their schools. For others, it is an opportunity to play with an advanced group of musicians with a similar passion for making music.

CMS ensembles are not intended to replace your school's music ensembles, but provide a supplement to your music education. All CMS ensemble musicians are required to participate in their schools' ensembles, if one exists.

Auditions are held in August and September, with application deadlines in early August. Audition applications are available as early as April 2008.
