Individual lessons are available for all ages and abilities in all instruments of their orchestra, voice, classical guitar, piano, organ and harpsichord; as well as jazz voice, piano and guitar.
The CMS faculty members are artist teachers, of which 70 percent have advanced degrees. These dedicated professionals value the potential of each promising student musician.
Students enrolled in individual instruction must have their own instruments and/or have regular access to an instrument for practice. A traditional piano is preferred for piano students and is essential after the first semester of lessons.
All students should be prepared to attend lessons weekly with instruments in good order. Regular practice and attendance are essential to music study. Attendance at musical events at the music school and other concerts and recitals enhances students’ progress. Opportunities to perform in recitals and/or performance classes are available to all music school students.
