The certificate program in government is designed to meet training and education requirements for people new to government contracting. The program consists of 6 Webster University courses that have equivalency with 10 Level I and Level II DAU CON courses as described below. In order to qualify for equivalency recognition, students must

  • Complete the Webster courses within the stated equivalency dates
  • Have a grade of B or better for each course
  • Take all the courses in the certificate program through Webster University
  • Understand that all courses in the certificate program must be completed to be recognized for DAWIA certification

Please note:  

  • The certificate program is for package equivalency.  A student must complete all of the Webster courses before receiving recognition for the equivalent DAU courses. 
  • Completing the certificate program does not automatically qualify a student for Level I and II professional certification in government contracting.  Additional requirements that need to be met can be found at http://www.dau.mil/catalog/cat2009/appendixb.pdf

  • An option for contracting personnel who already have level II certification in contracting is our DAU cooperative agreement
