Steps towards Declaring French Major
- Successful completion of at least one course in advanced French grammar and one course in French literature (with cumulative grade average in these courses of B or better)
- Successful completion of multiple choice language test at Intermediate level
- Petition for Admission to Department of International Languages and
Cultures

- 36 credit hours in French (24+ at 3000-level or above)
- 9 credit hours+ in French (FREN 3090/3100, FREN 3150/3250, and a FREN
4650) completed at Webster University
- Semester abroad in Francophone country
- Portfolio review, completion of reading list, and demonstration of 'advanced low' oral proficiency in French
