David is a native Californian who grew up in the Southeast, where he attended the University of Georgia and earned his BA in Classical Greek. He earned an MA in Philosophy from the University of Illinois before returning to California to earn his PhD in Philosophy from UCLA. He remained at UCLA, where he taught philosophy and wrote the McGraw-Hill textbook, A Guide to Good Reasoning. While at UCLA he served as Vice-Chair of Philosophy, Assistant Dean of Humanities, and Associate Provost.
David arrived in St. Louis in 2002 to lead Webster University’s College of Arts & Sciences. As dean he has worked to raise the College’s profile, to build enrollments and quality, and to strengthen its resource base. Many new programs have been launched during his tenure, ranging from an undergraduate emphasis in Biotechnology to the Global MA in International Relations.
David has been actively involved in national higher education issues, having served in Boston for a year as a Fellow with the American Council on Education. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the American Council on Education’s Council of Fellows and as co-chair of their national Outreach and Engagement Committee.
David is engaged in the St. Louis region, serving as a director on many local boards. These include the Academy of Science-St. Louis, the Missouri Biotechnology Association, the Coalition for Plant and Life Sciences, the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute, and the German American Heritage Society. He also chairs the Ethics Committee for the St. Louis Science Center, and has been a fellow with Leadership St. Louis.

As Associate Dean, Sarita assists Dean Wilson with leadership tasks and new initiatives. She also helps faculty develop new academic programs.
Sarita is a St. Louis native though she was on the road for many years pursuing her academic goals. She has a BA from St. John's College, Annapolis, MD, an MA in psychology from Georgetown University, an MA in systematic theology from Aquinas Institute and a doctorate (D.Phil.) in theology/history from Oxford University. She is pleased to have come full circle by arriving back home in a job at Webster where her father loved teaching and working beside university staff for 35 years.

As Worldwide Director of Counseling, Dr. Stacy Henning administrates the counseling program around the world, aligning the program with professional counseling standards and devising new areas of study in the Counseling program. As Special Assistant to the Dean, she assists the Dean in assessing and implementing prospective programs worldwide.
Stacy is a St. Louis native though she lived in California for several years practicing as a corporate development consultant. She has a BA in Communications, an M. Ed. in Counseling, and a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision, all from the University of Missouri—St. Louis. She is excited to have the opportunity to blend her development consulting background with her counseling experience and education in this position with Webster University. Stacy enjoys urban hiking and watching her son play sports.
Debby Miller

Debby, as administrative officer and chief of staff, manages the overall administrative operations of the College.
She oversees budgets, facilities, staff support, and space issues for the Dean's office and the nine departments within the College of Arts & Sciences.
Debby has a BA in Psychology from Webster University, and is currently working on a MA in Management and Leadership. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her two children.
Barbara Carrow

In her role as marketing and communications coordinator, Barb provides public relations support for the College of Arts & Sciences and its individual programs. She is responsible for developing marketing strategies, coordinating communications for the College, managing content for CAS website, and planning various special events.
Barb has a B.J. from Mizzou’s School of Journalism and an MA in English (with a linguistics emphasis) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She enjoys gardening, photography, jogging, creative writing, and spending time with her family.
Bryce

Since arriving at Webster in 1996, Bryce has served the University in a wide variety of fundraising capacities. In his current role, he coordinates fundraising efforts and assists the Dean on community relations issues.
A Wyoming native, Bryce holds a BA in Russian Language from the University of Wyoming and an MA in International Relations from Webster University. Bryce is an avid rugby player and outdoors man, and when obligations to his young family allow, his hobbies include woodworking and carpentry.
Christine

Christine and her colleagues in the Office of Public Affairs assist the University both in institution-wide public relations efforts and via individualized support for the schools and colleges. Christine provides specific public relations counsel and support for the worldwide network of extended campuses, the Office of Academic Affairs, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Communications.
Christine has been with the University and in the Office of Public Affairs for almost eight years. She holds an MBA and an MA in Media Communications-Public Relations from Webster University and a BA in Journalism Communications with a minor in Psychology from Truman State University.
Leslie Smith

As Executive Assistant and Office Manager, Leslie is responsible for a variety of tasks in the Dean’s office. She is the executive secretary to the Dean and Associate Dean, the office manager and receptionist, an event planner, and the coordinator of the professional development and travel fund.
Leslie graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Studio Art and Psychology and a minor in Art History. Originally from St. Louis, she is currently pursuing an MAT in Special Education from Webster University. She has lived in Indiana, Boston, and Florence, Italy and loves art, travel, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Kate Sprague

Kate Sprague joined the College of Arts & Sciences in September 2007. Her support services to faculty and staff include consulting, training, and troubleshooting of computer software and hardware. She also works closely with faculty to help them effectively plan for and use technology resources that aid in their teaching and professional activities.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Kate has a BS in geography from Florida State University and an M.Ed. in Information Systems and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She enjoys reading and traveling when time allows; however, she says most of her time is spent with her husband and their blended family, which includes seven children and two dogs.
Nicole Hill

As Graduate Assistant in Web Design & Marketing, Nicole is responsible for updating and designing websites throughout the college, providing technical support for the project management system, and assisting in various marketing and administrative projects.
Nicole graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Nicole is currently pursing a MA in Information Technology Management and MBA from Webster University. During her leisure time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and playing sports.
