Biography:

Dr. Patrick Rishe has a B.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, a M.A. from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. from Binghamton University. Patrick Rishe's areas of teaching include sports economics, sports finance and sports marketing. He is also the leader for the economics division within the business department, and is responsible for the curriculum revisions to the economics major and minor that were implemented as of Fall 2010. Patrick's areas of interest include market research studies, economic impact studies, and teasibility studies in connection to college and professional sports teams/franchises.

Dr. Rishe is a contributor to the Sports Money section of Forbes.com.
