Help from real people

Yes, real people are available to help you with questions, problems, training, education, and existential angst as you come to use the computing resources at Webster.

At the University Center: see the desk staff for questions. They will refer you elsewhere if they can't answer your questions. (x7105)

At the MRC: see the Lab Staff there, or duck into the main office of the ACS and shout for help. (x7024)
[ Visit the ACS Home Page! ]

From home: if you need help dialing in to your e-mail account with Primary, there could be several places to check. For actual computer or modem problems, you need to call the place from which you purchased them. For things like busy signals or connection problems, or if you run out of disk space, or your e-mail isn't reaching you, or you can't remember your password, call Primary Network at 995-5755. Free, unlimited technical support is available Monday - Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.

All other times: Call the Computer Center at x7404 if none of these other sources give you satisfactory help. We will try to help you as best we can, and assist you if you cannot receive sufficient support from any outside sources. Keep us informed of your account problems, preferably via e-mail.
