Frequently Asked Questions by Students

How do I obtain my student ID and Password?

A password is mailed to you in a separate letter the third week of your first term. All letters mailed to you from main campus will have your student ID listed at the bottom of the letter. You may also visit our office and we can give you your student ID in person, but only you have access to your password. If you do not receive a password, or you lose the letter which had your password on it, you may go to www.webster.edu.

  1. Click on the Registration and Services Online option on the left.
  2. Reset Password.
  3. Enter appropriate information and then submit (you will need your student ID to do this).

You should receive your password in the mail within 5-7 days.

When will grades be posted?

Grades are due, Friday, the week following the end of the term and can normally be accessed by the student the same day. Example, if the term ends on the March 8th, the faculty have until March 15th to have their grades posted.

Any outstanding work owed by the student (deliverables) to the faculty will result in an end of course grade known formally known as an incomplete grade “I”. Should you receive an “I” grade we allow 30 days for the late work to be completed and in the instructors hands. For students using US Military Tuition Assistance (TA), it is extremely important that you pay close attention to completing your work in a timely fashion as to not have your pay deducted the TA amount.

How do I view my grades?

To view your grades you need your student ID and password.

  1. Go to www.webster.edu.
  2. Click on the Registration and Services Online option on the left.
  3. Click on the blue Student Logon button in the middle of the page.
  4. Enter your ID and password when prompted.
  5. Click on the grades option

When can I drop a course?

A course can be dropped before the term begins and up to the end of the second week of class (Friday) with a full tuition refund. You may drop a course by calling our office (910) 451-0951, sending an email to roseca@webster.edu, or fazioka@webster.edu, or by faxing a request listing the class you want dropped. It helps us to better serve you if a reason is provided with the request.

After the drop period is over, a student may request to withdraw from a course by filing a Withdrawal petition prior to Friday noon, of the sixth week of the term. A grade of "W" will be recorded on the transcript. Refund schedule is as follows:

Date Tuition Refund
Drop Week 1 100%
Week 2 100%
Withdrawal Week 3 50%
Week 4 25%
Week 5 0%
Week 6 0%
