Graduate Programs Offered in Santa Teresa:

Master of Business Administration
Master of Arts

The Santa Teresa Metropolitan Campus offers two Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree programs. There is a 48-semester-hour program for individuals without an undergraduate degree in business and who have, upon entry, an academic foundation in economics, finance, and accounting. This foundation may, under certain circumstances, be gained after entry into the program. Twelve related graduate level semester hours may be transferred into this program. There is also a 36-semester-hour program that presupposes an undergraduate degree in business or certain closely related fields. No semester hours may be transferred into this program. Master of Arts programs of 36 semester hours, into which 12 related graduate-level semester hours may be transferred, are offered in Business and in Computer Resources and Information Management. A 48-semester-hour M.A. program is also available in Counseling.

Programs for Working Adults

Faculty and Curriculum

Webster University faculty brings both academic and professional qualifications to the classroom. Faculty members are academically qualified to teach at the graduate level, and they work in the profession in which they teach. This enables them to blend academic theories with real-life experiences in the business world. Small classes and individualized attention permit the extra measure that marks a quality educational experience. The challenging, rigorous curriculum is standard for Webster University. Students are assigned projects involving real-world situations. The textbook provides the theory, and the business world provides actual case studies.

Director's Message

Webster University began offering graduate level degree programs in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, a small residential community just outside the city of El Paso, Texas, in 1985 in response to an established need for business and computer-related programs. Both the M.B.A. and Master of Arts degrees are pursued by a mixture of military and civilian students. Located in the Rio Grande valley, approximately 30 minutes driving time from any point in El Paso, the campus offers ready access to business and the military. The program has steadily grown from humble beginnings to regular enrollments exceeding 100. All programs are certified for veterans' benefits and are eligible for available military tuition assistance.
