Local and State Government & Political Expert
Jim Brasfield, professor of management at Webster University’s School of Business & Technology, is a subject matter authority on state and local politics, including the management and financing of local government; and health care policy, including Medicare and Medicaid. He served as mayor and alderman of the city of Crestwood for several years, was president of the St. Louis Municipal League and served on the Board of Directors of the Greater St. Louis Health Systems Agency. He has received many awards including the Outstanding Local Government Achievement Award from the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council.
