Why Students Choose Webster University
Graduate Programs at Myrtle Beach
Students who have earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university are eligible to apply for admission to Webster University. We do NOT require the GRE or GMAT entrance exams for admission in to our graduate programs. We do have an extended Probationary Period of 12 semesters hours before one is advanced to candidacy. A student must maintain a "B" average throughout the Probationary Period.
Our Myrtle Beach Campus offers the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees.
Webster's M.B.A. provides a strategic integration of key qualitative and quantitative components necessary for the creation and management of businesses worldwide. It is offered as a 36 credit hour program or a 48 credit hour option.
The 36 credit hour M.B.A. provides a comprehensive foundation in critical aspects of accounting, finance, management, and marketing. The 48 credit hour M.B.A. gives you the opportunity to enhance that foundation by adding an area of specialty: business, information technology management, human resources development, human resources management, and management & leadership. Webster's M.B.A. is also offered online. (For online information, please visit our Web site at online.webster.edu.)
The M.A. is a 36 credit hour program with a qualitative orientation in one of six fields of study. The 36 credit hour programs may be completed in 15 to 18 months. The 48 credit hour program may be completed in about 24 months.
Webster also offers a sequential M.B.A. for students who hold an M.A., M.S., or equivalent graduate degree from Webster University or another regionally accredited college or university. If you qualify, this option allows you to earn your M.B.A. in less time by taking only the M.B.A. core courses. Plus, if you have taken any of the M.B.A. core courses as electives for your M.A. or M.S. degree, up to six credit hours may count toward the 27 total credit hours you need to earn a sequential M.B.A.
