Graduate Coaches:

Shaunte' Anderson

Martha Bailey holds a PhD in Government & Politics.  As a political scientist, she has published work in the area of American politics.  She enjoys teaching and working with college students.   Martha coaches both in person and through the Online Writing Center.

Roshaunda D. Cade is completing a doctorate in English Literature.  She has worked with college students for over twelve years, teaching Freshman Composition and African American Studies for seven.  She has published in the Journal of the Association for Research on Mothering.

Peggy Lewis, B.A., M.A.T., has taught at the elementary and college levels for over twenty years.  She has published poetry, fiction, articles, and over 26 books for teachers.

Donald C. Miller holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.A. in Media Literacy.  He has been a Corporate Training Developer for 8 years and has published work in the Saint Louis Journalism Review.  Don coaches both in person and through the Online Writing Center.

Susie Sinamon holds a B.A. in English and is currently working on her Teacher Certification and M.A.T. to teach high school Language Arts.

Undergraduate Coaches:

Grace Boehm is a sophomore History major with a minor in Religious Studies who is also working towards becoming certified to teach high school. This is her first semester working in the Writing Center.

Jared Gordon is an English-Scriptwriting double major who began working as a Writing Center coach in the Fall of 2007. He recently studied  in London, England through the Webster Study Abroad Program. A former Orientation Leader, he is currently active in WebsterLEADS and the Dominic Project.

Kelly Kendall is a junior journalism major who is also minoring in Mass Communication and Photography and receiving a certificate in professional writing. She is currently the Lifestyle Editor for The Journal and the ETC Section Editor and Business Manager for The Ampersand. This is her fourth semester as a coach in the Writing Center.

Christine Parsons is an English major with a creative writing emphasis; she has been a writing coach for the Online Writing Center since spring 2008. She won second place in the 2006-07 Freshman Writing Awards.
